The question isn’t whether there’s a crisis among young men — the data is hard to argue with. The question is what to do about it.

Russ Ewell, executive minister of Bay Area Christian Church, recently joined Brian From on The Common Good Podcast to talk about exactly this. Drawing on four decades of working with young men ages 12 to 30 — across campuses throughout the Bay Area — Russ makes the case that the questions young men are carrying aren’t complicated, even if the culture has made them feel that way. Will I be loved? Who am I? What’s my purpose? Social media, economics, and a generation of busy adults haven’t answered those questions well. But someone willing to be intentional can.

This is a 10-minute conversation worth your time — whether you’re a dad, a pastor, or someone who cares about what the next generation of men becomes.
