With thirty years of ministry experience, Jason provides the executive leadership and spiritual formation necessary to train new generations of leaders in the heart of Silicon Valley.
Jason’s approach to leadership is informed by a rigorous background in design and structural systems. Before entering full-time ministry, he completed both his undergraduate degree and graduate coursework in architecture at the University of Washington. This specialized training provided a masterclass in how to envision, plan, and sustain complex environments. Jason has uniquely integrated this professional expertise into the church’s growth, managing the development and oversight of BACC’s facilities in Palo Alto and Sunnyvale. His architectural eye ensures that thousands of attendees have safe, welcoming, and thoughtfully-designed spaces to encounter God every week.
Throughout his three decades of service, Jason has developed a deep, localized understanding of the Bay Area’s unique landscape. Having lived and served in communities ranging from San Jose to Stockton, he brings a broad regional perspective to the leadership team. This investment in the community is characterized by hands-on service; Jason has served as an English-as-a-second-language (ESL) coach through a Stanford University program for university staff and helped coordinate sensory-friendly medical clinics for individuals with disabilities.
Jason’s personal journey as a former single professional in the Bay Area drives his leadership of BACC’s professionals’ ministry across all nine campuses. He and Michele specialize in creating spiritual communities that keep pace with the innovative and high-pressure nature of Bay Area careers. By organizing large-scale workshops and local meetups, Jason empowers professionals to bridge the gap between career ambition and social impact, fostering a culture where faith and professional excellence thrive in tandem.
