Inspired by the early church in the book of Acts, we are committed to doing good and meeting the needs of our neighbors across the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond.

In this video, we share the heart behind our mission: following the example of Jesus by investing in programs that foster inclusion, provide relief, and build community. From neurodivergent-friendly programs to partnerships with local sports teams, we believe that when we do good together, we build a world where everyone belongs.

“Jesus went around doing good… for God was with him.” — Acts 10:38

Every act of kindness tells someone they are seen, valued, and loved. Whether it’s coaching a child, writing an encouraging card, or joining a food drive, your contribution makes a difference.

In Acts 2:43 MSG, it says

“… And all the believers lived in a wonderful harmony, holding everything in common. They sold whatever they owned and pooled their resources so that each person’s need was met.”

The first-century church in the book of Acts strove to live with the compassion and love of Jesus, which led to lives being impacted and needs being met.

As a church, we aim to follow in their footsteps—by investing in programs and services that positively impact people’s lives and establish the church as a force for good in our local communities.

Together, we meet needs in the Bay Area and beyond.

We’ve seen what happens when people decide to do good and look out for the needs of those around them. When everyone is included, joy grows, and people thrive. E-Life and E-Sports have been prime examples of the impact that can happen when we include people of all abilities in all aspects of life. We have partnered with many universities and professional sports teams to create inclusive opportunities for every child to grow.

The SJSU men’s soccer team partnered with E-Soccer for a day of playing soccer together.

The annual Golden Buddies Day brought Cal Berkeley football and E-Football together.

E-Hoops played an unforgettable on-court scrimmage before a Golden State Valkyries game

E-Track came alive with Cal Berkeley’s track team.

The San Jose Earthquakes held a special E-Soccer Appreciation Night, where 50 coaches and players were treated to a night of celebration at PayPal Park.

And the Golden State Warriors partner with E-Hoops regularly for special events and opportunities to promote inclusion of those with disabilities.

Moments like these remind us that when we do good together, we build a world where everyone belongs. When you coach a child, include someone who’s alone, or even support programs like these, you have no idea the level of impact it can have.

But the heart to do good doesn’t stop on the field or court.

When life gets hard, a little help can mean everything. Our church family has provided relief for families facing emergencies and lifted spirits when hope felt far away.

Across the Bay, members have handed out Bags of Love filled with sandwiches, snacks, and hygiene kits—reminding those experiencing homelessness that they are seen and cared for.

The Lo-Debar project has helped provide food and clothing for hundreds of unhoused individuals in the community.

Others have led food and blanket drives, turkey giveaways, and written hundreds of handmade cards to encourage students in need.

Every story is a reminder of what’s possible when we come together to do good.

In Acts 10:38 NLT, it reads

And you know that God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Then Jesus went around doing good…for God was with him.

That heart to do good, to give hope, and to love unconditionally—that’s the heart of Jesus that we are inspired to share.
