At the Bay Area Christian Church (BACC), we believe that making God known means showing up for our neighbors. This heartfelt video from the Stockton Office of Violence Prevention (OVP) highlights the incredible impact of our partnership during the 2023 Holiday Celebration Service.

For the past two years, the BACC’s Contra Costa South Campus has worked alongside the OVP to support their mission of reducing violent crime and providing a safety net for families affected by gun violence in Stockton.

Highlights of this Partnership:

  1. Holiday & Summer Giving: Through the generosity of our members, we’ve provided essential gift cards and resources to bring joy to families during challenging times.
  2. Community Leadership: We celebrate our very own Pat Carter, who was recently honored as the “Most Outstanding Community Volunteer” at the Symposium for Victims of Gun Violence.
  3. Direct Impact: The OVP explains how these “gifts of hope” provide tangible relief and a reminder to Stockton families that they are not forgotten.

We are honored to continue supporting the life-changing work of the OVP. Together, we are turning faith into action and shining a light in the places that need it most.
