Talking to God can feel hard sometimes. When you need help praying, these are Scriptures to build your conviction and faith about telling God everything.
Psalm 35:17-18 GW[17] O Lord, how long will you look on? Rescue me from their attacks. Rescue my precious life from the lions. [18] I will give you thanks in a large gathering. I will praise you in a crowd of worshipers.
Psalm 35:22-23 GW[22] You have seen it, O LORD. Do not remain silent. O Lord, do not be so far away from me. [23] Wake up, and rise to my defense. Plead my case, O my God and my Lord.
Psalm 34:4-5 GW[4] I went to the LORD for help. He answered me and rescued me from all my fears. [5] All who look to him will be radiant. Their faces will never be covered with shame.
Psalm 32:5 GW[5] I made my sins known to you, and I did not cover up my guilt. I decided to confess them to you, O LORD. Then you forgave all my sins. Selah
Psalm 32:6-7 GW[6] For this reason let all godly people pray to you when you may be found. Then raging floodwater will not reach them. [7] You are my hiding place. You protect me from trouble. You surround me with joyous songs of salvation. Selah
Psalm 33:20-22 GW[20] We wait for the LORD. He is our help and our shield. [21] In him our hearts find joy. In his holy name we trust. [22] Let your mercy rest on us, O LORD, since we wait with hope for you.
Psalm 27:3 NLT[3] Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will not be afraid. Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident.
Psalm 27:7-9 NLT[7] Hear me as I pray, O LORD. Be merciful and answer me! [8] My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, ” LORD, I am coming.” [9] Do not turn your back on me. Do not reject your servant in anger. You have always been my helper. Don’t leave me now; don’t abandon me, O God of my salvation!
Psalm 27:13-14 NLT[13] Yet I am confident I will see the LORD’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living. [14] Wait patiently for the LORD. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the LORD.
Psalm 17:3 NLT[3] You have tested my thoughts and examined my heart in the night. You have scrutinized me and found nothing wrong. I am determined not to sin in what I say.

Today, we’re excited to talk about what happens when we express our gratitude to God by being generous with other people.
God's vision for the church is for every person to be inspired, connected, and “joined by faith as family.”
