Not only are we in a pandemic due to Covid-19, but we are in the midst of a #loneliness epidemic. Everyone experiences being lonely from time to time but with the added stresses, fears, and frustrations from being sheltered-in-place as well as seeing examples of racism frequently in the news and social media, it can feel as if we are more distant from others than ever. The research is clear that loneliness can trap us into more loneliness as we detach more from other people (see below).
Join us this Sunday at 11am PDT for the Bay Area Christian Church live stream service as we learn how we can make decisions to break out of this loneliness trap but also be equipped to help our friends and family do the same.
