About Mandy

Alongside her husband, Sean, Mandy brings twenty years of leadership experience to the heart of Silicon Valley, where she specializes in the spiritual formation and mentorship of women across the Peninsula and South Bay.

Mandy’s leadership is rooted in the vision and determination of a Division 1 athlete. She not only ran for the UC Berkeley track and field team while she was a student there but was also the MVP and team captain. While balancing the demands of collegiate athletics, Mandy also joined the BACC’s student leadership program, merging the discipline of the track with spiritual vision and character development. She has taken that championship mindset into every sphere of her life, inspiring women to pursue their full potential with both strength and purpose.

Mandy’s professional background provides a layer of therapeutic expertise that strengthens her leadership. After earning her degree in Social Welfare from Berkeley, Mandy worked as a behavioral therapist for children with autism before pursuing a Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from San Jose State University. This graduate-level training in behavioral science and social service was further refined during her tenure as a case manager for the Regional Center of the East Bay in Oakland. Mandy leverages this deep understanding of advocacy and social dynamics to build communities where individuals at every stage of life—from high school students to working professionals—feel understood, supported, and equipped to lead.

Since joining the BACC staff in 2006, Mandy has dedicated her career to empowering women and helping them discover their purpose. Mandy applies the resilience of an athlete with the deep empathy of a social worker to bridge the gap between individual faith and tangible community impact.
