About Amy

Her husband, Ray, is the West Bay lead minister, and together they form a co-leadership team with Sam and Tenea Manuel to manage the day-to-day ministry and decisions across all BACC campuses. She and Ray also provide direct leadership for the BACC’s campus in San Francisco.

Amy brings both global perspective and local expertise to our leadership team. As a Hong Kong native, she is fluent in Cantonese and gained international business experience working for Samsung. She is also a graduate of the University of San Francisco’s McLaren College of Business, building her foundation in management in the city’s business district before joining BACC’s administrative team. All of these experiences developed the professional skills and people-centered approach that would come to define Amy’s leadership.

Now leading BACC’s West Bay women’s ministry, Amy brings excellence, care, and collaboration to the work of building spiritual community. She facilitates and speaks at annual women’s events that draw thousands of attendees, creating environments that foster meaningful connection and inspire women of all ages to pursue lives of purpose, impact, and service.

Amy also directs the West Bay women’s summer leadership program, a premier training ground where she mentors college students and equips them for their future careers through spiritual formation and professional growth. For Amy, leadership development is about preparing young women to lead with excellence and spirituality.

Beyond the church, Amy is a recognized pioneer in the field of disability inclusion. Leveraging her deep roots in San Francisco and her business experience, she co-founded E-Hoops SF, an inclusive athletic program that has become a model for adaptive sports. She not only runs the behind-the-scenes operations of the program but also draws on her own experience as a parent to compassionately train volunteers and build genuine connections with the families E-Hoops serves. Through E-Hoops, she has helped forge partnerships with the University of San Francisco, the Golden State Warriors, the Golden State Valkyries, and more. These collaborations have transformed the landscape of neurodiversity in the Bay Area, supporting Amy’s belief that a truly disability-inclusive society is built through professional excellence and a compassionate commitment to belonging for every family.
