Just as the Scriptures teach us that distance in our relationships reflects distance from God (1 John 4:10-12), we can also develop attachment and intimacy in our friendships when we choose to be intimate with God.

Do your relationships reflect love and family? Or are they more dutiful? Maybe you enjoy spending time with people but have a hard time being deeply attached. We will learn to love and get close to people when we develop the personal conviction that our destinies are intertwined to fulfill God’s dream together.
