A life free from fear, guilt and insecurity is the best life you can live. Freedom to see God and his dreams will lead to an extraordinary destiny.

“Let us praise the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has come to help his people and has given them freedom.

Luke 1:68

True freedom, the freedom to be yourself, the freedom to be truly happy, the freedom to be confident, and the freedom to have close friendships comes from God.

What do you need freedom from? Fearing people’s opinion of you? Anger and hurt feelings? Impurity? Fear of failure? Fear of rejection?

Identify 3-5 things you need freedom from. Share them with a friend or family member who can help you overcome these fears with God.

God is my protection. He makes my way free from fault.

Psalm 18:32

Faults are mistakes, weaknesses, sins, and imperfections. Faults give us a guilty heart and we often deal with them by hiding them or pretending they are not there.

The scriptures teach that God can free us from faults and a guilty heart.

What things do you feel guilty about? What relationships do you feel guilty in?

Pray about these things. Then share them with a friend or family member.

So I will live in freedom, because I want to follow your orders.

Psalm 119:45

So Jesus said to the Jews who believed in him, “If you continue to obey my teaching, you are truly my followers. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”

John 8:31-32

The freedom that God promises requires some action on our part. In order to have freedom we have to trust God and follow his commands. Once we have freedom, the only way to remain free is to continue to a closeness with God.

What/who do you follow instead of God? Why? What dictates what you do, how you act, the language you use, the things you say?

Pick a specific scripture that you will follow for a week. Share it with a friend or family member.
