This is a Character Study of Rahab, who conquered her fear so she could be free and live her destiny. Fear is the ultimate obstacle that keeps us from reaching our destiny. A lot of times it’s our past that keeps us imprisoned from seeing what God has planned for us.

We can learn valuable lessons from the Widow of Zarephath because we will all, at some point in our lives, face painful and desperate times. Life doesn’t show or play favoritism. The Widow of Zarephath challenges us to make time in our hearts and schedules to meet the needs of others, even when life hasn’t dealt us the fairest cards.
