Teen ministry

We call our youth ministry the “Y” ministry because we focus on teaching our youth the reason why we do everything we do, not just going along with traditions or rules. We want our Y-ministry to experience God for themselves, not getting caught up in behavior and traditions but truly understanding the life God wants for them.

Our Y-ministry holds weekly devotionals bringing together students from high schools across the Bay Area for Bible discussions and fun activities. With a heart to serve, discover God for themselves, and share their lives with friends at school, our Y-ministry is raising up young leaders.

Bring your family to any of our church services on a Sunday and you’ll find a group of welcoming teenagers who are part of our Y ministry. Or, contact us and we’ll help you find the group closest to you.

What kind of activities does the teen ministry do?2023-11-02T13:15:22-07:00

Every Friday or Saturday, our high school students from around the Bay get together in their respective Bay Area locations to eat, have fun, and inspire their friends about God’s word. Everyone is welcome to join us. Devotionals typically start at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays, or 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays. Contact us if you’d like to find out when the devotionals nearest you are taking place.

How can my middle schooler be involved in the teen ministry?2023-03-23T14:46:21-07:00

In most of our locations, middle schoolers have their own classes on Sunday during service and regular events on weekends throughout the school year designed to help them build relationships and answer spiritual questions they might have. Connect with the ministry staff in your local area to find activities for middle schoolers close to you.
