About this video
The cross is a story of emotion and of sacrifice. It is easy to let our emotions drive us away from God, and let the “crowd” influence us more than our faith. But despite all that, Jesus loved us enough to die for us. To sacrifice is to do something for someone else that isn’t going to benefit you, and that’s exactly what Jesus did for us on the cross. Though he didn’t have to die for us, he did it so that we could be in a close relationship with God. Watch this week’s episode of One Quick Thought to learn more about how responding to that sacrifice is what can lead to a new and free life.
As we develop spiritual incrementalism — taking things on one step at a time — we can discover the life God is calling us toward.
God wants to show us the truth about ourselves so he can help us discover our purpose.
