For God's Word to influence and affect us, we need to look at the condition of our hearts.
What matters most to God is not survival or even perfect performance, but a heart that loves.
God gives us opportunities to draw close to him, but we can get consumed and easily miss out.
God wants to help us deal with and heal our hearts so that the other parts of our lives can grow, too.
Our view of God is important as it shapes how we treat and prioritize our relationship with him.
When we make the soil of our hearts soft, our relationship with God will grow.
What we fill our hearts and minds with will determine how we feel and live.
When we get so caught up in ourselves, we end up missing out on God.
When we choose to trust God, we don't have to worry so much about taking care of ourselves.
