There are no two lives that are identical in pace or rhythm. Though we often long to manage life on our own terms, it is difficult to force our lives to either slow down or speed up. With each new day, life brings urgency and unpredictability to our front door.
It may be tempting to seek control over our speed of life, but this is not the true solution. What we need is the spiritual depth to live life with a sense of connection, maturity, wisdom and purpose at whatever speed life is taking us.
Luke 6:47-48 NLT
I will show you what it’s like when someone comes to me, listens to my teaching, and then follows it. [48] It is like a person building a house who digs deep and lays the foundation on solid rock. When the floodwaters rise and break against that house, it stands firm because it is well built.
Spiritual depth comes from living by the Bible, but we don’t always know where to start or how to access this depth with our current pace of life.
Deep Spirituality’s new release: Quick Quiet Times
With these spiritual needs in mind, Deep Spirituality has added a new feature called “Quick Quiet Times” to help provide spiritual depth when the pace of life makes it difficult to go deep.
What to look out for in these new Quick Quiet Times:
- 📋 A PDF guide to print out and take notes on.
- 🎧 An audio version to listen as you read.
- 💭 Scriptures with questions to reflect on.
- 🗣️ Brief and engaging language to make deep concepts accessible.
- 💥 Catchy headings like “thought starter” and “truth bomb” to help with understanding and reflection.
- 📱 Downloadable images to save as graphics or phone wallpapers to carry the Scriptures with you as you go.

Hebrews 4:12 AMP
For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart.
God’s Word provides the depth we need. It accesses our full range of emotions, understands our thoughts, and examines our motives. It brings the energizing faith, grounding conviction, and applicable wisdom we need to handle the lives we have.
So, next time you’re running fast and struggling to engage your heart and mind — God’s got you. Try out a Quick Quiet Time and experience the depth God can bring, even at the speed of life.
