Do not allow this world to mold you in its own image. Instead, be transformed from the inside out by renewing your mind. As a result, you will be able to discern what God wills and whatever God finds good, pleasing, and complete.

Romans 12:2 Voice

On July 27th, all nine campuses of the Bay Area Christian Church will come together for a powerful and inspiring day at Shoreline Amphitheater, Northern California’s premier concert venue.

For almost three decades, this summer tradition has brought thousands together for what feels like a mix of a family reunion, open house, Sunday service, and outdoor festival. Whether you’re a kid, teen, college student, single or married, or part of a growing family, there’s something for everyone with 3-on-3 basketball, fun activities for all ages, food trucks, worship, and opportunities for connection.

This year’s theme: Made for More

“We know that God is always at work for the good of everyone who loves him. They are the ones God has chosen for his purpose…”

 Romans 8:28 (CEV)

We believe that both our individual lives and our shared journey as a church are made for more: more purpose, more impact, more transformation.

At this year’s Shoreline Service, you’ll see how God is working through powerful partnerships across the Bay Area to bring lasting change to our communities. Every person and every family carries a story of transformation, and when we come together, those stories create a fellowship that’s vibrant and inspiring.

To help you get ready for the day, we’ve put together a few resources to make the most of your Shoreline experience. Start by visiting the Shoreline event page on our website, where you’ll find a full overview of what to expect, a flyer you can share with friends, and a PDF map to help you navigate the venue. Then, check out the two top 10 lists below: one with what you can look forward to, and another with helpful tips to plan ahead.

Top 10 items to expect on Sunday July 27th

  1. Easy parking: As you arrive at the Amphitheater, look for colored balloons and volunteers in gold T-shirts. They’ll guide you to a parking spot and help you get settled.
  2. Entrance and security: Head to the main entrance for a quick security check. Please note that Shoreline doesn’t allow glass bottles, grills, or grass stakes for tents or canopies.
  3. Accessibility support: Families with members who have special needs or physical disabilities can use the designated “fast pass” lines at security for easier entry.
  4. A fun welcome: You’ll be greeted by some of our favorite costumed characters—perfect for a quick family photo before heading in!
  5. Grab a treat: Right inside the entrance, stop by the Baby O’s coffee and donut truck to fuel up for the day.
  6. Stay hydrated: There are eight free water refill stations located just inside the main gates on both sides. Bring your reusable bottles!
  7. Support for every family: Our Spiritual Resource Ministry, designed to support neurodiverse children, is located just inside the front entrance.
  8. Children’s Ministry: Classes are available for children up to 4 years old, giving little ones a space to enjoy the day too.
  9. Sensory-friendly fun: We’ve created a sensory tent, plus a dedicated bounce castle and train rides just for neurodiverse kids.
  10. Post-service activities (stick around for more fun after the service):
    1. Train rides and bounce castles
    2. 3-on-3 basketball tournament starts at 1:00 pm
    3. Eight food, drink, and ice cream trucks (with GFCF options)
    4. Plenty of shaded tables and chairs on the front patio for eating and hanging out

10 things you need to know to plan ahead

Every year, thousands of people attend our Shoreline service. It’s exciting, but also a great reason to plan ahead. Here’s what you need to know:

  1. Wear comfortable shoes: The Shoreline Amphitheatre seats over 20,000 people, and there’s a bit of a walk from the parking lot to your seat.
  2. Arrive early: We recommend arriving by 10:30 am. If you get there at 11:00, you’ll likely miss part of the service.
  3. Plan for security check-in: Like all major Bay Area events, Shoreline has a security screening at the entrance. Give yourself a little extra time.
  4. Know what not to bring: Remember the “3 G’s”: no grills, no glass, and no grass stakes (used to anchor tents or canopies).
  5. Know what you can bring: You’re welcome to bring your own canopies and tables into the main venue, but not into the 3-on-3 Tournament area. That space will already be set up by BACC and Shoreline staff.
  6. Plan your picnic: You can bring your own food or grab a bite from one of the food trucks (check the map for a full list).
  7. Look out for the safety fence: To meet city guidelines, a security fence will be set up around the 3-on-3 Tournament, food trucks, and picnic areas.
  8. Stick around for fun: After the service, enjoy train rides, bounce houses, and sweet treats like ice cream. Give yourself time to relax and take it all in.
  9. Access to the tournament: To get to the 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, you’ll need to go through the main amphitheater first.
  10. Download the map: Grab the PDF map in advance so you can find everything easily, including a seating chart, food truck locations, and activity zones.
