Amanda Negrete, from our Half Moon Bay house church, was recently featured in the Half Moon Bay Review for her exemplary community involvement that all starts and ends in her home. With her husband and three daughters, Amanda runs a bustling preschool and noteworthy music academy all under their one roof.

“I’m doing what I was meant to do and it doesn’t feel like work,” she said. “I love doing this. I am so grateful to be able to earn my living from home with our kids around. I’m not missing out. It’s the absolute best.”

Her story shows us that when you combine your home, your passion, and your local community, something special happens.

“Through skillful and Godly wisdom is a house, a life, a home, and a family built, and by understanding it is established on a sound and good foundation, and by knowledge shall its chambers of every area be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.”

Proverbs 24:3-4 (AMP)
