Join us for a socially distant double feature movie night!
The Bay Area Christian Church invites you to join us for a special summer movie night! We’ve reserved an entire outdoor theater lot at the West Wind Capitol Drive-in for a safe, socially-distant evening of fun.
All are welcome! Make it a fun family night, date night, or roommate night with your household. During the movie you can sit outside your car on lawn chairs to enable us to see each other while keeping a safe physical distance.
This year, we have made important and necessary changes to our annual calendar to help fight the spread of Covid-19 and keep each other healthy. We understand that this has meant missing some of our favorite events like our teen and middle school camps and the encouragement that comes along with them.
But we also believe that faith helps us innovate in the face of difficulty. In that spirit, we hope this summer drive-in movie night provides you with a fun, encouraging fellowship experience that is also safe and healthy.
At all times we will be implementing and requiring the wearing of masks and proper social distancing when attendees are outside their vehicles. This is a requirement of the venue. As well, to help insure everyone’s safety and health, attendees will be expected to limit their interaction to those within their immediate assigned areas.
Your attendance signifies you understand you’re responsible for your adherence to social distancing guidelines (per the Santa Clara County Public Health Department) and that you will at all times consider the safety of others.
Parking is limited to 200 cars, so admission will be charged at a flat rate of $60 per car. This averages to about $15 per person for a car of 4 people. We also are offering a special discounted rate of $45 for single parents.
So bring your lawn chairs, snacks, and of course hand sanitizer and masks for a fun socially distanced summer drive-in double-feature! Our family-friendly feature presentation “Wonder” will start at 8:30 pm with “Karate Kid (2010)” to follow about 10 pm.
