And whatever you do, do it with kindness and love.
I Cor 16:14 TLB
Since you have been chosen by God who has given you this new kind of life, and because of his deep love and concern for you, you should practice tenderhearted mercy and kindness to others…
Col 3:12 TLB
…mercy triumphs over judgment.
James 2:13 GW
Think of the kindness you wish others would show you; do the same for them.Luke 6:31 Voice
Luke 6:31 Voice
Sometimes we don’t think we have what it takes to do good – but kindness is something that all of us can show no matter what our life situation, personal resources or circumstances.
God’s deep love and concern for us should motivate us to show mercy and kindness to others. It is easy to forget that we have been shown kindness and it is also easier to show judgment rather than kindness if we feel we have been inconvenienced, neglected or wronged in any way.
Remember the kindness you have been shown and think of the kindness you feel you need to help you treat others in a way that is generous, gentle and helpful.
Can you remember a time when you were shown kindness even when you felt undeserving?
Can you think of someone in your life who needs you to show them kindness today?
This is a post in a series called “15 Days to Become a Force For Good,” which is a follow up to our 2017 Expo.

This was created by a member of the Bay Area Christian Church team.
Today, we’re excited to talk about what happens when we express our gratitude to God by being generous with other people.
God's vision for the church is for every person to be inspired, connected, and “joined by faith as family.”
