We’re just two days away from our annual Holiday Celebration Service! In addition to bringing back some of our favorite festivities (Santa’s Playland, Polar Express train, toy drive, free family portraits, an incredible lesson and more) we have some new features this year to look forward to. Check these out to make sure you don’t miss anything!

1. Candy canes for the kids (and yes, they are gluten free!)

When you walk in from the parking garage, you’ll be met by enthusiastic greeters with candy canes for your kids. If your child has food sensitivities, don’t worry- all these candy canes are gluten-free.  We don’t want any kid to miss out on their special holiday treat!

2. Interactive kiosks will show you where to go

This year the Convention Center is equipped with electronic interactive kiosks that will show you a map of the event and a list of the activities we are offering. Looking for the complimentary refreshments? Just walk up to one of these kiosks and tap “Today’s Events” to find a list of all the festivities offered at our service and where they are located. Then tap “Venue Map” to find  your way anywhere in the Convention Center.

3. Live-stream of service in a sensory-friendly environment

We strive to be an inclusive church, sensitive to everyone’s needs. With that in mind, if you need a more a sensory-friendly experience, we will be live-streaming the service in Exhibit Hall B (adjacent to the main service) from 2-3:30 pm.

4. Carolers and a string quartet

Christmas music is an essential part of having holiday spirit! This year as you walk to the service enjoy live performances by a group of carolers and a string quartet.  Of course, this is in addition to the live performances during the service itself.

5. Complimentary refreshments

Stop by the Great America Lobby for complimentary hot chocolate, coffee, tea and pastries before the service begins.

If you’re looking for an incredible holiday experience, we hope you will bring the whole family and join us this Sunday!
